Avian Audacity
Crows, audacious and adaptable, shifting their ways in a rapidly changing environment. My crow is doing its thing, making good of all the waste we dump on its home. I use old plates to tell my stories, they have a history, and this one has a cultural reference to England, the British Empire. Underneath is the turkey, that would have been roasted, presented, and carved on this plate.
The indigenous crow, survives, and rules supreme over its colonial turkey, letting us know with its mawkish cry.
