Sunlight Balances Shadows
I found this view in Windsor Downs Nature Reserve on my morning walk. The composition looked perfect to me although I didn't understand why until I started to paint it. No matter the angle of the sun, nature had a formula so it would make sense. Backlighting created strong shadows which were balanced where the bush was lit by light.
